Name and shame: this man is stealing your content

Content theft - it's not big, it's not clever and if you write about anything Linux related; this man may well be stealing your content. He stole my review of PCLOS2007...

Meet Vipul Agrawal; the owner of Linux - The Master Of All - a simple Blogger setup where the owner has no brain. A slightly harsh comment but let's look at some material to support that claim:

He stole my PCLOS review
Refresh your memory by looking at my review of PCLOS and then compare that to the WORD FOR WORD version he has on his site here. The point I especially like is how he didn't read the content before stealing it; meaning you have my sentences like "One point worth highlighting is that I find the menu system to be slightly curious (as you can see in the above screenshot)." with no supporting image.

Word for word content theft with no link to me, this man is scum.

He steals content and makes a mess of it all
He copies and pastes content from your site - sometimes including images. Unfortunately for him, some of the sites he steals from don't allow image hotlinking - meaning there are a LOT of broken images around the site.

Content theft breaches copyright when there is no reference to the original content, something Vipul does on every single article.

Can you contact Vipul? No. He has no contact details on his website and blogger doesn't seem to offer this information. Technorati don't appear to either. So what can I do?

It's a blogger domain so I can't do a WHOIS lookup and it appears that I can't drop him an email. I have found someone on LinkedIn with the same name so I'll drop him a line and ask whether the domain is his. I'll keep you posted.

If anyone has any advice on this, please let me know. I've reported it as "spam" on Blogger but I doubt that'll get anywhere without me able to explain where the content has come from.
